Bun rieu eatery 'upgrades' after Chinese customer criticized hygiene

Hang Luoc bun rieu eatery reopens, attracting customers after improving its premises, following a nearly two-week suspension for food safety violations and a Chinese customer's complaint of it being 'dirty like torture'.

The renowned Hang Luoc bun rieu eatery in Hanoi has successfully reopened its doors, once again drawing in patrons. This follows a temporary closure of nearly two weeks, which was imposed due to concerns over food safety and hygiene standards. The suspension came after a Chinese customer publicly criticized the establishment, describing its cleanliness as "dirty like torture".

In response to the incident and the subsequent regulatory action, the eatery undertook significant improvements to its premises. These efforts focused on enhancing the overall space and ensuring adherence to stringent food safety protocols, ultimately leading to its renewed operation and a positive reception from customers.
