"So charming, if I get a chance to visit Da Lat, I'll definitely stop by," commented user Thao Nhi. Nguyen An remarked, "Both beautiful, talented, and graceful." Many expressed delight at the owner's lively communication skills and distinct Hong Kong film-like voice. Others playfully suggested the owner should quit selling coffee and pursue acting, saying "the profession chooses the person".
Kim Huong stated the cafe has been open for eight years, but the playful teasing style and video uploads only began early this year. The idea for the costumes originated from a previous costume rental service offered at the cafe. After trying on a costume for fun, she realized it suited the cafe's ambiance and decided to develop it into a unique selling point. Spontaneous videos featuring these interactions were uploaded from mid-october, quickly going viral.
"I am happy that the videos have been well-received and contribute to promoting Da Lat tourism," said Kim Huong.

According to the owner, she initially felt a bit self-conscious, fearing it might be "over the top," but positive customer reactions boosted her confidence. All situations in the videos are spontaneous improvisations, without a script. However, the owner always observes each customer's demeanor, only engaging in playful banter when they appear receptive, to avoid causing discomfort or offense.
Each morning before opening, Kim Huong prepares her costume, makeup, and hair to "get into character." Beyond her 90s Hong Kong film dubbing voice, she can switch between northern, central, and southern Vietnamese accents, imitate certain artists, and communicate in English and Chinese. She is currently also learning Korean in the evenings to enhance her interactions with international visitors.
Customer numbers have remained stable over the years. Kim Huong acknowledged that while humor acts as a catalyst, the cafe's atmosphere and service are what truly keep customers returning. The cafe offers 250 seats within a space adorned with thousands of colorful hydrangeas and continuously updated miniature landscapes, catering to photography enthusiasts. "Da Lat is very competitive, with many check-in cafes," Kim Huong noted. "Having customers return is a significant blessing."

The owner added that the cafe's many "instagrammable" spots, offering views of Tuyen Lam Lake, along with prices ranging from 40,000 to 55,000 dong, also contribute to its appeal, even though it is located in an alley.
"Fun must be accompanied by good products to retain tourists," Kim Huong emphasized.
