The event took place at Rex Saigon Hotel on the morning of 6/12, marking the launch of the unit's tourism development strategy, focusing on cooperation with local authorities and communities.
The program welcomed about 300 guests, including representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, various departments, and member businesses of Saigontourist Group. At the event, the unit shared its development orientation and emphasized the coordinating role of businesses, government, and residents in promoting sustainable tourism.

The unit stated that the tripartite partnership model ensures harmony between economic goals, environmental preservation, and improving community living standards. Through the event, Saigontourist Group established a long-term connection channel and increased coordination effectiveness among stakeholders in implementing tourism products, services, and activities throughout the area.
Speaking at the program, Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Chairperson of the Member Council of Saigontourist Group, announced that the unit will pursue a "green and sustainable tourism" strategy in the coming period. She emphasized that cooperation with 168 wards and communes, along with partners, will help spread the image of civilized, safe tourism while preserving local identity.
"For Vietnamese tourism to reach global heights, it must stem from deep connections and strong companionship. This event strongly affirms the 'golden triangle' strategy we steadfastly pursue", Anh Hoa stated.

Furthermore, coordination with local authorities helps businesses better understand community needs, infrastructure conditions, and specific tourism products in each area. This also forms the basis for developing solutions to support community-based tourism, foster new destinations, and improve service quality in Ho Chi Minh City.
The meeting is a milestone in Saigontourist Group's restructuring phase, initiating a more comprehensive cooperation program between the enterprise and local government systems.
