The event attracted Vietnamese and international artists such as People's Artist Nhu Quynh, Meritorious Artist Chieu Xuan, Dinh Ngoc Diep, Tuan Tran, Phuong My Chi, Park Sung-Woong, and Moon So Ri. Not only a meeting point for different cinematic traditions, the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III) also created opportunities to promote cultural and tourism exchanges between Vietnam and the world.

The closing ceremony was held at the Ariyana International Convention Centre, part of the Furama Ariyana Da Nang complex. Andre Pierre Gentzsch, CEO of the Furama Ariyana Da Nang International Tourism Complex, stated that the resort was honored to be a part of the film festival, considering it a bridge between art and tourism, contributing to enhancing Da Nang's position on the international events map.
"With a space combining traditional architecture and modern amenities, this location is chosen for large-scale cultural activities and conferences. The event concluded with audience support, positive reviews from experts, and the expectation that it will continue to be a lever for tourism development and the creative industry in Da Nang," an Ariyana representative said.

At the event, several films that chose Vietnam as their backdrop attracted attention. For example, director Victor Vu's Detective Kien - The Headless Case takes viewers to the landscapes of Cao Bang and Tuyen Quang, where nature not only serves as a backdrop but becomes part of the film's "storytelling language."
The Vietnamese-Indian co-production Love in Vietnam features many scenes shot in Da Nang, from the ancient space of Tay House in Furama Resort to the infinity pool and beachfront lounge. These shots help shape the city's image in the eyes of international friends.
In the Vietnamese film category, Sister-in-Law by director Khuong Ngoc won 4 awards: Best Screenplay, Best Actress, NETPAC Award, and Best Film. According to the director, this is a special milestone after many years in the profession.

The film is appreciated not only for its artistic quality but also for its ability to reflect Vietnamese family culture—a factor that helps domestic cinema connect more strongly with audiences at home and abroad.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the city People's Committee and Head of the DANAFF III Organizing Committee, said that cinema is opening up new opportunities for the city, helping to spread local cultural values to the international community.
