Da Nang partners with VNPAY to enhance digital experiences for tourists

Da Nang leverages VNPAY's digital payment solutions to improve the tourism experience for international visitors.

At the Da Nang Tourism Stimulus Conference 2025 themed "New Da Nang - New Experiences" on 15/8, the city of Da Nang and VNPAY partnered to introduce digital payment and tourism solutions for international tourists.

The digital payment solution, the VNPAY app, allows international visitors to easily register an account using their foreign phone numbers, link international payment cards, and make transactions via VNPAY-QR codes at various local vendors. With a user-friendly English interface, the app supports a wide range of services, from shopping to entertainment, on a single platform, eliminating the need for currency exchange or complicated procedures. This not only enhances visitor satisfaction but also encourages them to return and recommend Vietnam as a modern travel destination.

In addition to improving the tourist experience, VNPAY is also supporting businesses in Da Nang in their digital payment transformation through the VNPAY-QR solution. This solution helps businesses expand their international customer base, increase business efficiency, and meet the global trend of electronic payments. With faster and more convenient transactions, international visitors are more likely to spend more, contributing to increased revenue and competitiveness for businesses.

Tran Manh Nam, Director of VNPAY's Enterprise Division, noted the significant increase in international tourists to Vietnam, leading to a demand for fast and secure payment options at all service points. "VNPAY's solution allows tourists to use their international phone numbers and cards, minimizing intermediary procedures. At the same time, collaborating with local businesses helps digitize the entire payment and management process", Mr. Nam explained.

The combination of the digital payment solution for international tourists and VNPAY-QR for businesses is creating a unified service platform. According to a VNPAY representative, this helps Da Nang both retain existing visitors and attract new ones, solidifying its position as a leading destination in the region.
