Hue's tourism sector sees regional partnerships as an opportunity to share its unique cultural identity and promote its values alongside other localities. As host of the 2025 National Tourism Year, Hue has invited other regions to participate in organizing programs, events, and festivals. This provides a platform for collaboration and partnership, allowing Hue and other provinces to develop specific products and leverage their strengths to boost regional tourism.
Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of the Hue City Department of Tourism, stated that Hue will continue to implement cooperation agreements with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and Quang Tri. The city is also actively seeking partnerships with other provinces nationwide that share cultural similarities or offer complementary tourism products.
Furthermore, Hue is promoting the development of unique inter-regional tours, specializing in products like golf, wellness tourism, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions). The city is also focused on sharing management expertise and training high-quality human resources.

With increasing competition in the regional tourism sector, collaboration is essential for each locality to maximize its potential. "In addition to promoting tourism and improving human resources through regional partnerships, Hue will strengthen state management of inter-regional tourism. This includes establishing mechanisms for regular information exchange and promptly addressing issues arising from cooperation. We will also review and simplify administrative procedures related to tourism activities between localities, aiming for shared service standards across the region," Tram said.
The unique cultural, historical, and natural landscapes of each locality create a rich and attractive experience for tourists. Hue has previously partnered with Da Nang and neighboring provinces to develop diverse coastal tourism products, ranging from luxury resorts to adventure tourism. These coastal routes capitalize on the region's long coastline and beautiful beaches, particularly the Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system.

Hue has also collaborated with Da Nang and Quang Tri at international tourism fairs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Promotional programs in Malaysia, participation in the ITB fair in Singapore, and tourism promotion activities in Australia have also been undertaken to showcase the "Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage" tourism brand.
In addition, the former imperial capital is focusing on developing cultural tourism, integrating cultural values such as cuisine, art, and heritage into ecotourism, community tourism, and golf products in the region. This creates a unique and enriching experience for visitors.
