Lang Son's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported tourism revenue in the first half of 2025 reached 2,931 billion VND, a 12.6% year-on-year increase. This success is attributed to the province's tourism development initiatives.

Lang Son has hosted numerous events to attract tourists, including festivals and international celebrations such as the 2025 Peach Blossom Festival, the Ky Cung – Ta Phu Temple Festival, the Mau Son Mount Paths race, the International Yoga Day and Indian cultural exchange in Lang Son in 2025.
The province currently has 280 festivals, of which 170 are held regularly at various scales. These festivals mainly take place during the first lunar month, with notable examples including the Tro Ngo Festival, the Bac Le Temple Festival in Huu Lung district, the Na Nhem Festival in Bac Son district, and the Tam Thanh Pagoda Festival. Lang Son also collaborates internationally to develop unique tourism products within the Geopark area.
Eco-tourism products combined with sports activities are also promoted, such as: mountain climbing in Yen Thinh, rafting on the Ky Cung river, and camping in Huu Lien. Currently, there are 6 community tourism sites recognized by the provincial People's Committee and awarded international prizes, such as the ASEAN Community Based Tourism Award for Huu Lien (Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district) and the ASEAN Homestay Award for the Yen Thinh commune homestay cluster.
Additionally, Lang Son has completed the application for Quynh Son Cultural Tourism Village to participate in the United Nations' Best Tourism Villages Award. The province is also developing eco-tourism products in Loc Binh district through surveys and promotional videos. Discounted entrance fees have been implemented to attract more tourists, and travel agencies receive support for promoting products on digital platforms.
The local government has focused on attracting investment from large enterprises to improve transportation infrastructure and accommodation. Entertainment areas and restaurants are being renovated or newly built to maximize the province's tourism potential.
Historical and cultural relics are being preserved and restored to cater to visitors. According to a representative from the provincial tourism department, some unique tourism products have established their brand in the market, creating a distinct identity for Lang Son tourism. Moreover, a safe and secure tourism environment is maintained to support the industry's sustainable development.
