Nha Trang offers night flight tourism deals

Tourists joining the marathon or exploring Nha Trang this summer can enjoy discounts of up to 40% when booking night flights.

The "Nha Trang - Summer 2025" stimulus program is a collaboration between the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Vietnam Airlines, and various local accommodation and travel businesses. The combo deals apply to night flights departing between 9 PM and 7 AM the following day and are valid until the end of August 2025.

The combo packages include discounted airfare, accommodation at 4- and 5-star hotels and resorts, and additional experiences. These packages cater to various tourist segments, from families and couples to groups of young friends, with diverse needs and interests, including exploration, sports, and relaxation.

The highlight is the significant price reduction of 30-40% compared to regular prices. Additional services such as night food tours, snorkeling, visits to popular destinations like VinWonders, Hon Chong, Ponagar Tower, or combined running tours also offer substantial discounts for early bookings.

According to Huynh Minh Nhut, Chairman of the association, these night tourism packages and special activities will attract domestic and international tourists to Nha Trang. The program aims to support the initiative to boost tourism based on local culture and history, especially night flights and the night-time economy. The association is also actively promoting international-level activities to enhance the position of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa on the Southeast Asian tourism map.

Mr. Nhut stated that the association is coordinating with the province and relevant units and businesses to focus on developing night tourism products to extend tourists' stays. They also hope to create more opportunities for visitors to experience Nha Trang's culture, cuisine, and night scenery through entertainment, music, and sporting events.

"The night tourism combo is the first step in the incentive strategy to attract tourists to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa during the summer," Mr. Nhut said. "In the future, we will promote these combo packages along with a series of international entertainment and sporting events to attract more tourists during the off-season."

According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in the first 5 months of 2025, the province welcomed over 4.6 million tourists, a 19.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Of these, international tourists accounted for over 2.23 million, an increase of nearly 11.4%. Total tourism revenue reached nearly 23,652 billion dong, an 18.2% increase compared to the same period.

According to a representative of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, the stimulus programs and international events not only aim to attract tourists but also to promote the province's image as a sustainable and environmentally friendly destination. The association also encourages tourism businesses to implement measures to reduce plastic waste, use renewable energy, and prioritize local products in their supply chains.

Luxury tourism is also being emphasized to boost the commercial economy. "A highlight of the combo is the Nemo Yacht experience, a tour to the pristine Ninh Van Bay with a flavorful local lunch, or a romantic sunset cruise on Nha Trang Bay," shared Nguyen Quang Thang, Permanent Vice President of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association.

In terms of sports, Nha Trang will soon host two major events: the Nha Trang 2025 International Sailing Race and the VnExpress Marathon on 24/8. The marathon is an annual event attracting numerous domestic and international tourists.

Last year, the event gathered over 11,000 domestic and international athletes, with distances ranging from 5 km to 42 km, taking place along the coastal road, passing Tran Phu Bridge, Tram Huong Tower, and Luong Son Pass. This year, the event is expected to attract 13,000 athletes, including runners from South Korea, China, and Europe.

This year's VM Nha Trang is the third edition and the final leg of the VnExpress Marathon coastal tourism series. The race will take place on 24/8 at 2/4 Square in the city center. The event is organized by VnExpress Electronic Newspaper and FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company. Interested readers can find more information here.
