The Vietnam International Flute Festival (VIFF) is a non-profit artistic event dedicated to fostering connections among music enthusiasts, nurturing emerging talent, and promoting cultural exchange through the art of the flute. This year's festival, themed "Rise with the Pearl Island - Giai dieu giua tang khong", will be held at Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay.
Over six days, participants will compete across three divisions: Junior Division, MH Division, and Young Artist Division. The winner of the Young Artist Division will receive a prize of 1,000 USD (over 25 million dong), in addition to special accolades like the Audience Award and prizes from the flute crafting brand Flutes and Flutists.
Beyond the competition rounds, VIFF 2026 will feature a series of professional activities designed to enrich participants' experiences. These include Fundamental Class, Master Class, Artist Class, concerts, ensemble performances, an instrument exhibition, and a grand gala night titled "When the Wind Sings - Khi gio cat loi". These events offer opportunities for artists, students, and the wider flute-loving community to interact and collaborate.
