In Quarter II, domestic airlines operated 66.616 flights, with an industry-wide on-time performance rate of 82,4%. Sun PhuQuoc Airways, however, achieved an 86% OTP, with 4.564 on-time flights out of 5.253 total operations.
Despite adverse weather conditions in 6/, the overall industry OTP reached 75,7% across 25.627 flights. Sun PhuQuoc Airways maintained an 81,3% on-time rate from its 1.835 flights during this challenging month.
Earlier in the quarter, Sun PhuQuoc Airways' OTP was 89,6% in 4/ (1.624 flights) and 90,1% in 5/ (1.794 flights). These figures also exceeded the industry averages of 87,1% in 4/ and 86% in 5/, respectively.

A company representative explained that Quarter II annually marks a period of heightened travel demand during the summer peak season, alongside challenging weather conditions such as storms in the southern region and extreme weather events in the northern region. In this context, on-time performance not only reflects operational efficiency but also demonstrates the airline's management capabilities, coordination, and ability to maintain system stability.
Maintaining stable operational quality not only showcases current efficiency but also establishes a foundation for Sun PhuQuoc Airways to gradually expand its scale in line with sustainable development goals.

Centered on passenger experience, the airline continues to invest in service quality, operational capacity, and fleet size. This strategy aims to meet growing market demand and prepare for planned international route expansion.
According to plans, Sun PhuQuoc Airways will increase its fleet to 26 aircraft by the end of 8/. Starting in 9/, the airline will introduce the wide-body Airbus A330, with four A330s planned for operation by the end of the year, contributing to a total fleet of 32 aircraft. This expansion forms the basis for extending medium- and long-haul routes, progressively realizing its "Rise to the World" strategy to connect Vietnam with Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
The airline stated that maintaining stable operational quality during rapid expansion demonstrates a consistent development approach: growth paired with quality. This progressively aims to achieve its goal of becoming a 5-star service airline. Through this, the company hopes to enhance Phu Quoc's international connectivity and establish "Pearl Island" (Phu Quoc) as a regional tourism and trade hub.
