A representative from the management authority stated that these routes are a direct response to directives from the Hai Phong City People's Committee to boost tourism. They also foster close cooperation among the airline, management agencies, and tour operators.
The new flight network is expected to help the port city attract more visitors from the southern region. It will also promote Hai Phong's unique tourism potential, including the Cat Ba archipelago, Lan Ha Bay, Do Son beach, and its diverse cuisine and architecture.
A Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative reported that flights connecting Hai Phong have already recorded over 5,000 bookings. The load factor for these flights is consistently increasing, indicating strong demand for trade and tourism between the port city and other domestic economic centers.
