The ranking, announced on 31/12/2025, focuses on destinations "off the beaten path" that are suitable for experiential travel, seeking uniqueness, and authentic value in 2026.

According to NDTV, Ta Xua is known as a cloud-hunting paradise, with its highlight being the "dinosaur spine". This narrow, two-kilometer-long road runs along the mountain ridge, amidst floating white cloud valleys, offering an exhilarating experience for adventure enthusiasts.

Other destinations on the list are primarily located in Europe, the Americas, and Africa, including: Kotor (Montenegro), Svalbard (Norway), Neuchatel (Switzerland), Luang Phrabang (Laos), Sapporo (Japan), Raja Ampat (Indonesia), Hurghada (Egypt), Mombasa (Kenya), and Cusco (Peru).

NDTV states that the selected locations are not yet overly crowded, boast captivating natural landscapes, or offer memorable experiences. Among them are natural wonders worth experiencing once in a lifetime, as well as places that reveal their charm through unforgettable moments or scenes.

Following its merger, Ta Xua commune now combines the three communes of Ta Xua, Lang Cheu, and Hang Dong, covering a total area of over 230 km2. Ta Xua is 240 km from Hanoi and over 100 km from Moc Chau district center. Situated at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,800 meters above sea level, Ta Xua enjoys a cool climate year-round. The period from November to March annually is ideal for cloud hunting and mountain climbing.
