Hunter Biden announced on 9/4 that he received a call from Andrew Callaghan, who suggested arranging a match between him and U.S. President Donald Trump's two sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, ahead of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. Biden expressed his readiness for the challenge. "I told Callaghan I would get in the ring", Hunter said. "Certainly, if he can organize the match. If he can't, I'm still ready to make it happen."
Donald Trump Jr., 48, and Eric Trump, 42, have not yet responded to Hunter's challenge. If organized, this would be an unprecedented confrontation between the sons of two prominent political figures.

The White House is also planning a combat sports event, featuring professional UFC fighters, on 14/6 as part of activities celebrating the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.
Hunter, 56, is Joe Biden's only surviving son after his eldest son, Beau Biden, died in 2015 from brain cancer. A federal court previously convicted Hunter of serious offenses, including possessing a firearm while addicted to drugs and tax evasion, but his father, Mr. Biden, pardoned him in the final days of his term.
Callaghan is an independent journalist and well-known social media content creator recognized for his "Channel 5" platform. Besides his YouTube activities, Callaghan also produces documentaries, including projects in collaboration with HBO.
Hunter's challenge recalls the highly publicized potential cage match in 2023 between tech moguls Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. That showdown ultimately did not take place.
