Local media reported on 14/9 that Harry and Meghan's family chose to reside in Cotswolds, a central England area popular with many celebrities. They enrolled their two children in an undisclosed private school.

Hello! magazine stated that the distance from home to school and heavy traffic on the route raised security concerns for the family.

"The family decided to move their children's school after discussing the feasibility of current options with their security team," a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan told the magazine.

Harry and Meghan returned to England late last month with their seven-year-old son and five-year-old daughter, six years after leaving the royal family and moving to the US. They had previously stepped down from royal duties in 2020.

Harry pursued a years-long legal battle to maintain his right to state-funded police protection while living in California, but was unsuccessful. He is now reportedly pushing for the restoration of police protection for his family.

Harry's family currently uses private bodyguards. However, according to British media, Harry has asked the government to intervene and provide police protection for him and his family.

The Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec), the body responsible for protecting royals and other important figures, met last week to discuss security for Harry's family. Ravec is expected to conduct a detailed assessment of threats to the family.

On 7/9, King Charles III authorized the Lord Chamberlain, a senior royal official, to send a letter on his behalf, announcing that Harry and Meghan would not be considered working royals after returning to live in England.

"In summary, their role is simply as ordinary citizens with commercial and charitable activities," the letter stated, reaffirming that any activities undertaken by Harry and Meghan are personal and do not represent the monarchy.
