The Iranian military announced today, "We have deployed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeting power stations, navigation systems, and US administrative and logistical buildings at Isa Air Base in Bahrain to avenge Major General Majid Kazemi, the brave pilot who flew the Su-24 attack aircraft."

General Kazemi was one of 4 pilots aboard two Su-24 attack aircraft shot down during an assault on Al Udeid military airport in Qatar in early March; the fate of the others is still being determined.

The Iranian military also launched UAVs at "fighter hangars, satellite communication systems, and US equipment depots at Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base, Kuwait." This was in retaliation for recent attacks, including an assault on civilian homes on Qeshm Island.

Iran has not yet released the results of the two strikes. However, it stated that the attacks caused severe damage to Isa Air Base, making it "very difficult and costly for the adversary to intercept Iranian missiles and UAVs, despite the addition of advanced air defense systems."

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM), responsible for US military operations in the Middle East, has not commented on the information.

These attacks occurred after the US announced it had struck dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets on 30/7. CENTCOM stated this operation was in retaliation for Iranian actions targeting US forces stationed in the Middle East on 29/7.

Both sides have repeatedly attacked each other since President Donald Trump announced that the US military would strike Iran forcefully. This was in response to Tehran launching ballistic missiles at Washington's forces stationed in Jordan on 28/7.
