On 29/5, a private university in Daejeon announced disciplinary action against professor B, prohibiting him from teaching, academic advising, and mentoring students. This professor is also required to complete anti-recidivism training at the university's human rights center to prevent similar incidents in the future.

In 11/2025, a post on a South Korean student online forum criticized professor B for inappropriate comments, insulting female students, and discussing political topics unrelated to his course during lectures.
The post quoted professor B as saying, "I regret to say this to female students, but you may have to resort to prostitution if you feel desperate. Eight out of 10 South Korean women earn money through prostitution."
Students subsequently conducted a survey and collected audio recordings of professor B's lectures. They submitted this evidence, along with a complaint, to the university and the National Human Rights Commission of Korea in 12/2025.
The university faced criticism for its slow response, as it allowed professor B to continue teaching despite having received the complaint.
The duration of professor B's disciplinary action remains unclear, but local media reported that the punishment does not include dismissal or contract termination.
Daejeon, located in the central part of the country, is South Korea's fifth-largest city, with a population of 1,5 million.
