Ukraine's Pravda news agency reported today, citing law enforcement sources, that the woman's body was discovered on the night of 6/7 near the capital, Kyiv, with gunshot wounds.
The individual was identified as Anastasiia Berezovska, 39, the main suspect in an Interpol Red Notice related to last week's bombing in Monaco, which injured three people.
According to the notice, Berezovska is a Ukrainian citizen who speaks German and was wanted by Monaco authorities on charges of attempted murder, placing an explosive device in a public place with criminal intent, and complicity in a criminal conspiracy.

Ukrainian-born businessman Vadym Yermolaiev, along with his partner and son, were injured in the explosion on 29/6. The bag containing the bomb was placed at the entrance of the apartment building and detonated as Yermolaiev passed by.
Monaco's prosecutor's office stated last week that suspect Berezovska left the country for France by land, then fled by oto to Germany via several European countries.
Monaco authorities arrested two suspects for investigation. According to Pravda, one of the two arrested is an officer from Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Directorate (HUR), and the other is a former law enforcement officer.
Ukrainian police and HUR have not yet commented on the information that Berezovska was shot dead near Kyiv.

Yermolaiev, 58, born in Ukraine's Dnipro city, renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2017 and now holds Cypriot citizenship. He founded the Alef group, which operates in sectors such as real estate, agriculture, construction materials, mining, and logistics, and has appeared multiple times on the list of Ukraine's 100 wealthiest people.
In 2023, Kyiv imposed sanctions on him, alleging business ties with Moscow and tax payments in the Crimean peninsula, though the businessman has repeatedly denied these claims.
Local media reported that Yermolaiev is out of critical condition. His partner, Anna Nasobina, remains in serious condition and required a double amputation. The 13-year-old boy accompanying them sustained burns and injuries in the explosion.
