During a White House interview on 24/1, US President Donald Trump revealed that US forces deployed a weapon called "Discombobulator" to neutralize enemy equipment. This occurred during a raid on 3/1, targeting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
"They had rockets from Russia and China, but none launched. They pressed the button when we came in, but nothing happened. They were ready to confront us," Trump said.
The US leader stated he was not permitted to discuss the asset, despite his desire to do so. The White House has not commented when asked for more information about the "Discombobulator."
Speculation about a US "secret weapon" arose after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared an interview on social media platform X on 10/1 with a person believed to be Maduro's bodyguard. This individual described US forces emitting something like powerful sound waves, causing them to collapse and suffer nosebleeds, with some even vomiting blood. Their radar systems suddenly stopped working for unknown reasons.

When questioned about a "secret sound wave weapon" in an interview on 20/1, Trump stated the US possesses assets "that no one knows about," but did not name them. The Kremlin on 21/1 called on the US to clarify Trump's meaning regarding the secret weapon.
Sound wave weapons use high-intensity sound waves to debilitate opponents. Some types generate focused sound beams, causing physical pain and even paralyzing the resistance capabilities of those attacked.
These weapons can induce headaches, balance disorders, disorientation, and permanent hearing damage.
In the early morning of 3/1, US forces initiated "Operation Absolute Resolve," launching a series of airstrikes against multiple targets in Venezuela. This action facilitated the movement of special forces by helicopter into the capital, Caracas, to capture President Maduro and his wife.
The Pentagon reported 7 military personnel were injured out of nearly 200 deployed to Caracas. Venezuela stated that 100 people died following the US raid, a majority of whom were Maduro's guards.
