Vietnamese communities across Gulf countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, are reported safe amidst regional conflict. As of 16:00 on 2/3, Vietnamese embassies in these nations have recorded no injuries or property damage among citizens. These communities comprise thousands of individuals, with approximately 500 in Qatar, over 4,000 in the UAE, nearly 200 in Kuwait, and about 6,000 across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman.
In Qatar, the Vietnamese embassy has proactively implemented citizen protection measures. It closely monitors the situation, maintains coordination with Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local authorities, and updates information to issue security advisories. The embassy also requests citizens to register and update personal information to facilitate protection and evacuation plans in crisis situations.

The Vietnamese embassy in the UAE confirmed the safety of its community of over 4,000 people. However, 84 passengers and six crew members, all Vietnamese citizens, are stranded there and have sought embassy assistance. The embassy continues to monitor the situation, maintain communication, and proactively inform the community about regional developments, issuing early warnings. It also urges citizens to prepare for potential adverse situations, while offering reassurance and updating plans for citizen protection and evacuation.
Similarly, the Vietnamese embassy in Kuwait oversees nearly 200 citizens. In Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, where approximately 6,000 Vietnamese citizens reside, the Vietnamese embassy in Saudi Arabia continues to monitor the situation and implement citizen protection measures.
In Israel, Nghiem Xuan Hai Dang, Charge d'affaires of the Vietnamese embassy, stated that Israel activated its highest-level defense and domestic front management mechanisms when the Middle East conflict began. Despite daily life being affected by alerts and travel restrictions, there have been no power outages, water shortages, internet disruptions, or food scarcity. Since the conflict's outbreak, the embassy has activated a 24/7 citizen protection mechanism and has not recorded any Vietnamese citizens injured in recent missile attacks.
The conflict escalated with continuous airstrikes by the United States and Israel on targets in Iran since 28/2. These strikes destroyed areas and killed senior officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iran retaliated with missile and drone launches towards Israel and US military bases across the Gulf countries.
