Yamal's 3-year-old brother creates a sensation at the World Cup final

Three-year-old Keyne drew attention with a moment running towards Yamal, leaping into his brother's arms after the Spanish national team defeated Argentina 1-0.

Three-year-old Keyne, the half-brother of 19-year-old footballer Lamine Yamal, ran onto the field from the sidelines, seeking his brother and shouting with joy. This occurred as the Spanish national team celebrated their victory over Argentina at the New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, US, on 19/7.

Keyne, wearing Spain's number 19 jersey, identical to his brother's, held a piece of the World Cup goal net as a souvenir and rushed towards his brother. Yamal opened his arms, picked him up, and kissed his cheek.

The two brothers embraced for a moment before Yamal gently placed Keyne back on the field. They then walked towards the stands together, as others congratulated Yamal and Spain on their victory. The video garnered 287,000 likes and approximately 1,000 comments.

Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, securing their first gold trophy since 2010 when they beat the Netherlands. The match against Argentina also marked 19-year-old Yamal's debut in the World Cup.

Keyne has become a familiar face to football fans throughout this year's World Cup tournament. Following each Spanish victory, news outlets and television channels consistently reported on the heartwarming moments of Yamal embracing his younger brother before celebrating with his teammates. These videos attracted millions of views, leading many fans to affectionately call Keyne Spain's "lucky star."

Yamal also frequently speaks of his younger brother with deep affection.

"My brother is everything to me. I love him, I feel as if he is my own son," he once stated during a press conference at the World Cup.

Yamal, who boasts nearly 50 million followers on TikTok, has shared numerous videos featuring Keyne. These include clips of his younger brother sitting in a toy Mercedes-Benz, the two brothers shaking hands and dancing together, and other sweet moments between them.

Keyne and Yamal's mother, who has over 800,000 followers on Instagram, regularly shares endearing content and promotional posts alongside her youngest son.
