100,000 VinFast cars to display national flag decals for National Day

The Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer aims to distribute 100,000 sets of national flag decals leading up to the 80th anniversary of National Day, celebrated on 2/9.

VinFast has launched a nationwide campaign to distribute sets of three decals, designed in various sizes to fit car doors, hoods, and rear windows.

Owners of both gasoline-powered and electric VinFast vehicles can obtain the decal sets at VinFast dealerships and distributors across the country starting 18/8. A company representative explained that the program is part of the "Strong Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" campaign, which VinFast has been running to establish itself as the leading Vietnamese automobile brand.

"Each VinFast vehicle displaying the red flag with a yellow star, a symbol of Vietnamese resilience and intellect, will join the nation's celebratory atmosphere during these special days," said Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy General Director of Global Sales at VinFast.

VinFast vehicles have previously appeared in important national events. At the parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory in 2024, VF 8s were converted into convertibles by a team of over 100 VinFast engineers, working with representatives from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security for hundreds of hours.

Convertible VF 9s also participated in the recent 30/4 grand celebration. These VF 9s were chosen as lead vehicles for the Vietnam People's Army and People's Public Security contingents during the parade.

VinFast is currently the best-selling car brand in Vietnam for the first half of 2025, with cumulative sales reaching nearly 80,000 vehicles by the end of July. The VF 3, VF 5, and VF 6 models have helped the company capture over 64% of the small CUV market share in Vietnam.
