The gear lever is now positioned behind the steering wheel. The second-row features business-class style independent seats. Notably, these second-row seats have a new anti-nausea design.
New features include a refined voice recognition system, remote climate control, and larger side curtain airbags that cover the entire window area. The GL8 Land Business Class also boasts a new rear suspension, replacing the old torsion bar setup with a four-link independent rear suspension.
Powering the 2026 GL8 is a 2.0 turbocharged gasoline engine producing 233 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1,500-4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. According to test results, the vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds.
The 2026 Buick GL8 Land Business Class is available in the Chinese market in a single version, priced at 32,000 USD.
