Its sporty exterior features a closed single-frame grille and distinctive air intakes. The rear lighting utilizes OLED technology, while the headlights are LED Matrix units. The daytime running lights are adjustable.

The interior features the MMI display system, comprising an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display with integrated Google services. A dedicated 10.9-inch display serves the front passenger. The audio system is a B&O system with 20 speakers.

In Europe, the Q6 e-tron uses a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery pack providing a range of 625 km. The battery supports 270 kW DC fast charging. The standard onboard charger is 11 kW AC, with a 22 kW option.
