BYD Technology Week makes a stop in Ba Ria

Ba Ria Square hosted the fifth BYD Technology Week event organized by BYD Vietnam this year.

The BYD Technology Week event, held at Ba Ria Park Square on 2-3/8, attracted a large crowd over the weekend. According to BYD, the event drew over 1,500 attendees, resulting in nearly 20 vehicle reservations.

BYD showcased 10 new energy vehicles at the event, including the BYD Atto 2, Sealion 6 DM-i, Sealion 8, Han, M6, Atto 3, Seal, Dolphin, and two high-end models: the Yangwang U8 and Denza Z9 GT. In addition to standard test drives, attendees experienced specialized driving activities such as acceleration tests, zig-zag courses, and slaloms.

Highlights included the Yangwang U8's "Tank turn 360" demonstration and the Denza Z9 GT's intelligent "Crab Walk" parking feature. Attendees also explored the e-Platform 3.0, Blade battery, and the internal structure of BYD electric vehicles. Those who reserved a vehicle had the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw for a Samsung tower speaker worth 10 million VND, along with benefits like charging vouchers and maintenance discounts.

Pham Tuan Minh from Ba Ria, who test drove the Sealion 6, praised the vehicle's performance. "This is the first time I've seen such a large automotive event in Ba Ria," he said, "The car was remarkably quiet during the test drive. I'll definitely consider BYD's PHEV line in the future."

Van Phuoc, a clothing store owner from Dong Nai, noted that the Yangwang U8 and Denza Z9 GT were the two models attracting the most attention at the BYD Technology Week event. "BYD vehicles offer a smooth ride, excellent suspension, and quick acceleration," Phuoc commented.

A BYD representative stated, "In addition to the main activities, all visitors received complimentary vehicle inspections and cleaning services. We concluded the event with a music program as a gesture of appreciation to our customers."

Following its stop in Ho Chi Minh City, BYD Technology Week is scheduled to continue in eight more provinces and cities throughout the rest of the year, spanning across the three regions of Vietnam. The next stop will be Dak Lak on 23-24/8.
