The incident occurred on a road congested with trucks. A car maneuvered into the far-right lane, typically used by motorbikes. As it approached a junction with chevron markings, the driver swerved left, cutting in front of a large truck to overtake. This put the car directly into the truck's blind spot. The truck then collided with the car's side, causing a broken mirror and body damage.

Tractor-trailers and heavy trucks have limited visibility, particularly large blind spots immediately in front of, along both sides, and directly behind the vehicle. If a vehicle enters these areas, the truck driver cannot see it. Drivers must never cut in front of or suddenly change lanes directly ahead of trucks or container trucks.

Drivers should proactively reduce speed, stay in their correct lane, and queue during congestion or when approaching intersections. Cars weaving into lanes closest to the curb, where many motorbikes travel, not only endangers motorbikes but also disrupts traffic flow.
