The incident occurred when the traffic light turned green. A car from the right lane attempted a left turn in front of a large dump truck at the intersection. The car entered the truck’s blind spot and was struck, spinning sideways before being pushed to the middle of the intersection. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The learner driver’s car sustained significant damage, while the dump truck had minor scratches on its front.

Drivers should avoid driving too close to large vehicles like the dump truck in the video, as this increases the risk of entering their blind spots. Cutting in front of these vehicles to change lanes, as the learner driver did, is especially dangerous.
The blind spots of large vehicles encompass the entire space around the vehicle for several meters. Due to their size and limited mirror visibility, drivers often cannot see other vehicles within these zones.
