The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has introduced two new motorcycles, the Panigale V2 S and Streetfighter V2 S, for the 2026 Vietnamese market. Central to this new lineup is the 90-degree V-Twin engine with an 890cc displacement. This twin-cylinder engine weighs 54,4 kg. Its variable intake valve system (IVT) helps the motorcycle achieve 70% of its torque at just 3,000 rpm.

The new generation Ducati V2 engine produces 120 horsepower. Additionally, this engine utilizes spring valves instead of the Desmodromic valve system, which extends the valve clearance check interval to 45,000 km, significantly reducing maintenance cost concerns for owners.
Unveiled mid-June at the launch event for the new generation Audi Q Series, the two motorcycles appeared as aerodynamic works of art. The 2026 Panigale V2 S features a new design language that reduces its dry weight by 17 kg, bringing it down to 176 kg compared to its predecessor. To enhance the riding experience, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has equipped this sportbike model with Ohlins suspension, Brembo M50 brake calipers, and a 6-axis IMU electronic system.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Streetfighter V2 S nakedbike sheds its fairings, revealing its distinctive muscular lines. With a dry weight of just 175 kg, wider aluminum handlebars, and a swingarm extended by 30 mm, the Streetfighter V2 S offers a new, more comfortable riding position for urban travel.

According to the plan, these new generation speed machines will be officially distributed in Vietnam, with the Panigale V2 S priced at 759 million VND and the Streetfighter V2 S at 629 million VND. A representative for the Italian motorcycle manufacturer shared that the new generation Ducati V2 engine, featured in both the Panigale and Streetfighter models, focuses on practicality for daily commuting rather than solely optimizing for the racetrack.
