On 23/7, a line of cars ascended a narrow, winding mountain road in Guizhou province. In front of the car with the dashcam, a white car followed closely behind a dump truck loaded with sand.

The dump truck suddenly stopped. The driver of the white car swerved left to avoid a collision, but the truck had already begun rolling backward, closing the gap. Oncoming traffic in the opposite lane prevented the car from fully escaping.

The white car was pushed back and turned sideways. The driver tried to open the door but couldn't get out in time. Meanwhile, the dashcam car driver quickly shifted into reverse, narrowly averting the same fate.

The white car was wedged against the cliff face, acting as a brake and stopping the dump truck's descent.
