Moscow police have arrested a man suspected of stealing 26 imported vehicles from a dealership's parking lot on Dorozhny Proyezd. A company representative reported that the cars, valued at over 64 million rubles (842,000 USD), were taken over a 6-month period.
Preliminary reports indicate the suspect had been terminated by the dealership. He then reportedly used a messaging application to find buyers for the vehicles and orchestrated the criminal scheme.
7 of the stolen vehicles have been recovered across various regions of Russia, and the search for the remaining ones is ongoing. Police are also actively pursuing accomplices involved in the case.
