The Geely Monjaro impressed judges during the Car Awards' Car Test journey in 11/2025, earning praise for its driving dynamics and overall package. Despite being a relatively new entrant, the vehicle demonstrated a compelling blend of design, comfort, and performance, standing out in its segment.

Judges highlighted the Monjaro's striking exterior design, which features meticulous detailing. Inside, the cabin boasts a luxurious design with a high-quality finish, incorporating advanced technology and a wide array of features. The seats, designed for ergonomics, provide comfort and include a unique touch: speakers integrated into the headrests, enhancing the audio experience for occupants.

On the road, the Monjaro's solid chassis provides a precise driving feel, contributing to an engaging experience. Under the hood, a powerful turbocharged engine delivers robust performance. Furthermore, the car is equipped with extensive driving assistance features and safety technology, ensuring both confidence and security for drivers and passengers.

However, the judges also identified a few areas for improvement. The design of the gear selector, for instance, does not fully complement the vehicle's overall aesthetic. More significantly, the Monjaro faces customer hesitation due to its Chinese brand origin, a common barrier for new brands from the region. Additionally, its price point is considered somewhat high for a new brand attempting to establish itself in the market.
