Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam (HTV) launched the 2026 Stargazer for Vietnamese customers on 24/3. The new Stargazer is offered in two versions: Special, priced at 569 million VND, and Premium, at 615 million VND. This updated model no longer includes the standard version, which was previously priced under 500 million VND. Hyundai continues to assemble the MPV in Vietnam.
The new Stargazer features a redesigned exterior with a sportier language. Key highlights include new led daytime running lights, high-set headlights, and an expanded grille. Along the vehicle's sides, embossed character lines seamlessly connect front to rear, enhancing aerodynamics. The led taillight cluster boasts a new block design, harmonizing with the car's overall aesthetic.

The 2026 Stargazer is sold in two versions, priced from 569-615 million VND.
The Stargazer's overall appearance leans towards an SUV, characterized by a raised hood. It offers a ground clearance of 205 mm, an increase of 5 mm over the current model. The vehicle measures 4,575 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a 2,780 mm wheelbase. Compared to its predecessor, the new Stargazer is 115 mm longer.
Complementing its exterior, the 2026 Stargazer's interior also receives design refinements for a more modern style. A technological highlight is the panoramic dual screen cluster, featuring two seamless 10,25-inch displays that integrate the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. It supports wireless apple carplay and android auto connectivity. The vehicle includes an automatic climate control system and rear air vents.
The vehicle is equipped with a Smartstream 1.5 gasoline engine, producing 115 horsepower and a maximum torque of 144 Nm at 4,500 rpm. It features front-wheel drive, an 8-speed simulated iVT transmission, and four driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Smart.
Similar to its competitors, the new Stargazer integrates the Hyundai SmartSense active safety technology package, featuring new functions such as smart cruise control, forward collision avoidance assist, and adaptive automatic headlights. It also includes blind spot collision warning and avoidance, rear cross traffic collision warning, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, leading vehicle departure alert, rear occupant alert, and six airbags.

With its SUV-inspired exterior and interior upgrades, the 2026 Stargazer aims to meet the diverse multi-purpose needs of Vietnamese customers, from daily commutes to commercial service operations.
The Stargazer competes against formidable rivals in its segment, including: Mitsubishi Xpander (560-699 million VND), Toyota Veloz Cross (638-660 million VND), Honda BR-V (661-705 million VND), and Kia Carens (589-779 million VND).
In 2025, the Hyundai Stargazer sold 3,313 units, ranking 5th out of seven models in terms of segment sales. The Xpander led the segment with over 19,800 units sold.
