The Honda E-VO, a product of the Honda-Wuyang joint venture in China, is slated for limited import to Vietnam by several private entities.
The all-electric Honda E-VO boasts a motorcycle design with a nostalgic cafe racer aesthetic. Its midsection features a modern, angular design.

The electric motorcycle from the Japanese joint venture measures 1,996 mm in length, 755 mm in width, and 1,057 mm in height. These dimensions are comparable to the Honda CBR150R motorcycle in length and height, but narrower due to the absence of a fuel tank and a less complex engine.
Standard features on the Honda E-VO include LED lighting, a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation support, tire pressure monitoring, and vehicle information display.
Both the front (16-inch) and rear (14-inch) wheels are equipped with single disc brakes, ABS, and traction control. The front suspension is an inverted fork, while the rear is a monoshock.
A notable feature of the Honda-Wuyang electric motorcycle is the front and rear dashcams. It also allows connection to a mobile camera controlled via a button on the left handlebar, enabling riders, especially content creators, to record their journeys.
In China, the Honda E-VO comes in two versions: one with two batteries and one with three, providing a range of 120 km and 170 km per charge, respectively. Regenerative braking further extends the range.
Both versions of the Honda E-VO have a mid-mounted motor with an output of 21.2 horsepower, delivered to the rear wheel via a belt drive. The top speed varies between 110-120 km/h depending on the version. Company tests indicate a 0-50 km/h acceleration time of 2.8 seconds.
Home charging with a 1.8 kW charger replenishes the E-VO's battery from 20% to 80% in about 1.5 hours. A 3.4 kW charger reduces this time to about an hour.
Importers estimate the Honda E-VO's price in Vietnam to be over 100 million VND. Honda currently officially distributes the ICON e: electric scooter in Vietnam, starting at 26.8 million VND. Meanwhile, the CUV e: is currently only available for lease.
