Honda offers discounts on various models in August

Honda is offering promotions on several models by subsidizing registration fees, with the highest discount reaching nearly 100 million VND.

In August, like many competitors such as Toyota, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi, Honda is offering discounts of tens of millions of Vietnamese dong on a range of vehicles, from sedans to SUVs. The primary method is a 50-100% subsidy on registration fees or preferential loan interest rates. All registration fee incentives apply a 10% rate, regardless of the registration location.

The best-selling Honda City (499-569 million VND) receives a full registration fee subsidy, resulting in a discount of approximately 50-57 million VND.

The L and G versions of the Honda CR-V have a 50% registration fee subsidy, equivalent to a discount of about 50-55 million VND. Similar promotions are available for the G and RS versions of the Honda Civic, with discounts ranging from 40-44 million VND.

The hybrid version of the Civic, priced at 999 million VND, receives a 100% registration fee subsidy, reducing the on-road cost by nearly 100 million VND. This promotion applies only to 2024 models.

Like its competitors in the small MPV segment, such as the Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Veloz, the Honda BR-V also offers a 50% discount on registration fees. With a price tag of 661-705 million VND, the discount amounts to approximately 33-35 million VND.

The G version of the B-segment CUV, the HR-V, is discounted by 35 million VND thanks to a 50% registration fee subsidy. At some dealerships, the discount may be higher depending on individual sales policies.

In addition to direct price reductions through registration fee subsidies, Honda is also collaborating with dealerships on a trade-in program. This program runs for three months: July, August, and September. Customers who trade in their old Honda for a new model, including the HR-V, CR-V, Civic, and BR-V, receive a cash subsidy of 20-30 million VND.

Before Honda, trade-in support programs have been implemented by various brands and authorized dealerships of Mitsubishi, Toyota, Ford, and Hyundai. This is one way to stimulate demand from the seller's side, while fostering customer loyalty.
