The Santa Fe Hybrid's powertrain pairs a 1.6-liter Smartstream T-GDI turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, generating 232 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque. It's fitted with a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive.
According to the manufacturer's tests, the Santa Fe Hybrid achieves a fuel consumption rating of 5.1 liters per 100 km in combined driving conditions.
The Santa Fe Hybrid's exterior mirrors the combustion engine version with its boxy styling, stylized H-shaped LED headlights and taillights reflecting the brand's logo. The design of this D-segment SUV is bolder and more distinctive than its predecessor.
Inside, the highlight is the seamless 12.3-inch + 12.3-inch Panoramic Curved Display, integrating the instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. The center console is designed for easy use by both the driver and second-row passengers. Two wireless charging pads with integrated cooling fans are included, along with 64-color ambient lighting.
Hyundai has equipped the vehicle with a comprehensive suite of ADAS features: adaptive cruise control, front collision avoidance assist with emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and braking assist, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera. Several other standard safety features are also present.
The new-generation Santa Fe is not yet available with a hybrid option in Vietnam. It is offered with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine, either naturally aspirated or turbocharged, across five trims, priced from 1.069 to 1.365 billion VND.
