Lexus has announced new prices for the LM in Vietnam, alongside an extended 10-year warranty with unlimited mileage for both the vehicle and its battery, applicable to all new hybrid models from the brand, also effective 8/5.
The LM is the 4th model from the Toyota-owned luxury carmaker to see a retail price reduction. This is due to meeting the conditions of Decree 360/2025, which stipulates that gasoline consumption must not exceed 70% of the total energy used. Consequently, these vehicles benefit from a 30% reduction in special consumption tax.
Below are the reductions and new prices for Lexus models, with the LS, RX, and NX already having applied these changes since 2/3:
| Model | Version | New price (billion VND) | Reduction (million VND) |
| LS 500h | L-aniline | 8.03 | 360 |
| LS 500h | Semi-aniline | 7.92 | 360 |
| RX 350h | Luxury | 4.14 | 190 |
| RX 350h | Premium | 3.35 | 150 |
| NX 350h | Standard | 3.27 | 150 |
| LM 500h | 6-seater | 7.21 | 320 |
Among Lexus's hybrid models, the LM 500h 4-seater version did not receive a retail price reduction because it does not meet the state's tax incentive policy requirements. The ES sedan line, which includes the 300h version, has been discontinued in Vietnam, awaiting a new generation.
For Lexus's 10-year hybrid vehicle warranty, owners must have their vehicles serviced at authorized dealerships, with full periodic maintenance according to the manufacturer's recommendations (every 6 months or 10,000 km). Lexus's previous warranty was 5 years with unlimited mileage. For hybrid vehicle batteries, it was 7 years with unlimited mileage.

Toyota, Lexus's parent company, has also implemented a similar 10-year extended warranty policy for half of its products. These include the Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado, Fortuner, Innova Cross, Corolla Cross, Altis, Avanza, Veloz, Camry, and Alphard. The Yaris Cross hybrid version, however, only applies the extended warranty to its battery. The mileage covered under this warranty is 185,000 km.
Lexus is among the best-selling luxury car brands in the Vietnamese market. In 2025, the Japanese brand sold 2,252 vehicles, according to VAMA. Data collected by VnExpress indicates that the number of new and re-registered Lexus vehicles in 2025 reached 2,151, closely trailing Mercedes, which recorded 2,339 vehicles.
After Q1, Lexus sold 402 vehicles, doubling its sales compared to the same period in 2025. The RX, a mid-size SUV, is Lexus's main sales driver. Currently, all Lexus vehicles are imported from Japan.
