An all-electric vehicle is the final missing piece in Lynk & Co's multi-platform business strategy in Vietnam, a strategy implemented over the past three years. Vietnamese customers will not have to wait much longer, as Tasco Auto, the official distributor for Lynk & Co, confirmed the all-electric 02 will be available for sale around mid-August. Currently, the electric crossover is open for pre-orders at dealerships for early delivery slots.
The Lynk & Co 02 made its global debut in Milan, Italy, before launching in Europe, one of the world's most demanding automotive markets. Lynk & Co positions this model as a strategic global e-SUV in its accelerated electrification phase. It features compact dimensions, meticulous design, and a distinctly sporty style.

Most Lynk & Co models feature a coupe-like design with a steeply raked C-pillar. This styling aims to convey a sporty, dynamic character for the New Premium brand, owned by the Geely Group. In the Lynk & Co 02, the coupe style is even more pronounced, complemented by unique exterior design elements.
The Lynk & Co 02 measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,845 mm in width, and 1,573 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. These dimensions place the 02's wheelbase on par with C-segment vehicles like the Hyundai Tucson and BYD Sealion 6. Its overall length and width are comparable to B+-segment cars such as the Toyota Corolla Cross or BYD Atto 3.

The B+- and C-segment all-electric SUV market in Vietnam currently offers limited options. Aside from products from VinFast, BYD, and Geely, most other models are gasoline or hybrid. The Lynk & Co 02 offers a new choice for young customers who appreciate a distinctive, agile exterior and the sporty performance of an all-electric vehicle.
With its long wheelbase and flat floor, the 02 maximizes interior space, leveraging the inherent advantages of electric vehicles. This Lynk & Co model blends the interior comfort of a C-segment SUV with the urban agility of a B+-segment vehicle, thanks to its moderate overall size.
With the introduction of the 02, Lynk & Co completes its range of SUVs across different powertrains. For first-time car buyers, the brand offers the 06. For those seeking a slightly larger vehicle with a more distinctive design, the Lynk & Co 02 is a strong consideration. Meanwhile, premium family customers requiring spacious interiors packed with amenities have diverse options in the 01, 05, 08, 09, and 900, ranging from pure gasoline to plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

Lynk & Co positions the 02 as a strategic global e-SUV in its accelerated electrification phase. The vehicle is compact in size but features meticulous design and a distinctly sporty style.
The 02 applies the brand's second-generation "The Next Day" design language. It features flowing lines on the front and C-pillar, combined with distinctive daytime running lights inspired by the Aurora Borealis. The Lynk & Co 02's rear spoiler illuminates with an integrated 1,463 mm long taillight. This detail, made of 14 LED chips with 1,200 nit brightness, performs three functions simultaneously: welcome, farewell, and sequential turn signals.
The 02's sporty character is evident in its frameless windows and borderless side mirrors, a design rarely seen in Vietnam's small SUV segment. The car's wheelbase-to-overall-length ratio is approximately 61,8%, a figure comparable to the golden ratio in aesthetics. The 02's drag coefficient is 0,25 Cd, on par with low-slung sedans.

Lynk & Co states that the intelligent electrified SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform used in the 02 was developed over 5 years with over 2,000 engineers and a total investment exceeding 2.65 billion USD. This platform has been utilized in more than 18 models across global brands such as Volvo, Smart, Polestar, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co.
As a result, the Lynk & Co 02 achieved the highest 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. With a chassis structure featuring high-strength steel, an airbag system, and a suite of ADAS driver assistance features, the brand expects the e-SUV to provide peace of mind on journeys, offering optimal safety for passengers.

The Lynk & Co 02's interior features a minimalist style, aiming for a premium experience similar to its larger siblings. The brand minimizes physical buttons, with a 15.4-inch central infotainment screen, offering 2.5K resolution, where most vehicle functions are controlled. A bridge-style center console connects the two front seats, enhancing connectivity and usability.
To elevate the personalized experience, the Lynk & Co 02 is equipped with a premium Harman Kardon sound system featuring 14 speakers and 1,600 W of power with surround sound technology.
Another interior highlight of the 02 is its Infinity Light interior system, comprising 63 individual LEDs and 63 control chips. Users can choose from 256 color options and 11 dynamic lighting effects. Passengers are supported by ergonomically designed comfort seats, made from 8 layers of slow-rebound elastic material. This design evenly distributes pressure from the back, shoulders, neck, and head, promising comfort for users on long journeys.

The electric powertrain is a key feature of the Lynk & Co 02. A rear-axle mounted motor delivers 268 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque. Instantaneous acceleration upon pressing the accelerator allows the 02 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, an unheard-of figure for gasoline cars in the same segment.
The 66 kWh battery pack in the Lynk & Co 02 provides a range of 435 km on a full charge (WLTP). With a fast charger, battery capacity increases from 10-80% in 30 minutes, allowing the vehicle to travel an additional 325 km, according to the manufacturer.
The increasingly complete charging station infrastructure is one of the reasons driving Lynk & Co to bring the 02 to Vietnam. As part of its strategy to promote electrified vehicle lines, Lynk & Co Vietnam aims to cover 100% of charging stations at showrooms and facilities within the Tasco Auto ecosystem nationwide. By early 6/2026, the company and its partners had operated 35 DC charging stations. Esky, a major partner of Tasco Auto, has deployed 35 charging stations nationwide, including 23 DC and 12 AC stations.
The price of the Lynk & Co 02 in Vietnam is not yet known. According to dealership information, this new small all-electric SUV is expected to have two versions, fully imported from China.
