In April 2021, Thaco began selling two B-segment models: the CX-3 and CX-30, imported from Thailand. Now, the company is assembling the Mazda CX-3 at its Quang Nam factory, while the CX-30 remains an import.
Along with the shift to local assembly, Thaco has also implemented some exterior updates to the CX-3. The 2025 Mazda CX-3 features a redesigned grille, slightly modified front and rear bumpers, and new two-tone color options. All versions retain 18-inch wheels.

Leather seats are available on higher trims.
The interior layout of the new CX-3 remains the same as the imported version. The car has a 7-inch infotainment screen, leather seats in the two higher trims, and fabric seats in the two lower trims. Standard features include an electronic parking brake and automatic brake hold.
The two highest trims, Luxury and Premium, now include tire pressure monitoring. The top-tier Premium trim retains the i-Activsense safety suite, with features like blind spot monitoring, automatic headlights, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, and front and rear emergency braking assist.
The 2025 Mazda CX-3 retains its 1.5-liter SkyActiv-G engine, producing 110 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. It's paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Like the imported version, the locally assembled CX-3 comes in 4 trims. Prices are as follows (million VND):
Version | New Price | Increase |
AT | 549 | 25 |
Deluxe | 579 | 20 |
Luxury | 619 | 30 |
Premium | 659 | 18 |
Thaco positions the Mazda CX-3 in the B-segment crossover market, but it's smaller than competitors like the Kia Seltos and Mitsubishi Xforce. In the first half of 2025, the CX-3 was the slowest-selling model in the segment (considering only models with disclosed sales figures), with 1,569 units sold.
