The next-generation GLC EV will make its public debut at the Munich Motor Show in Germany at the end of 2025. Drivers can control the illuminated grille through the infotainment screen, although this feature's availability depends on local market regulations.
Built on the MB.EA electric platform, the new GLC EV is more than just a conversion from the internal combustion engine model. It's designed to replace the EQC in Mercedes' global electric vehicle lineup. The GLC EV boasts a longer wheelbase and flush door handles. It's expected to utilize an 800V electrical architecture, similar to the Porsche Macan EV.
Mercedes equips the GLC EV with the latest MBUX Hyperscreen technology to provide a seamless digital driving experience. Interior ambient lighting and digital controls further enhance the cabin's luxury, according to Mercedes.
