For the first time since its 2016 debut in Vietnam, the Mercedes GLC now offers a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option. Imported from Germany, the 350e 4Matic will be sold alongside the locally assembled gasoline variants: the 200 4Matic and 300 4Matic.
The primary distinction between the GLC PHEV and its gasoline counterparts lies in its powertrain. In addition to a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, similar to the other variants, the PHEV includes an electric motor, delivering a combined system output of 308 horsepower and peak torque of 550 Nm. This is paired with a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and a 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

The GLC 350e 4MATIC accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The included 11 kW AC charger fully recharges its 25.28 kWh battery in about 2.75 hours. This battery provides an electric range of 115-128 km (WLTP standard).
The GLC 350e boasts a combined fuel consumption of approximately 2.1-2.5 liters/100 km. In contrast, the gasoline variants consume over 10 liters/100 km.
The GLC PHEV's design mirrors that of the gasoline model. Its exterior features an AMG Line package with sporty accents, 20-inch wheels, and welcome lights on the front doors. Inside, the vehicle offers leather upholstery, a nappa leather steering wheel, and four-zone climate control. The cabin is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch central touchscreen.
