A motorcyclist, after lightly bumping into the front of a car traveling in the same direction, immediately stopped his bike to start a fight on Giai Phong Street on 23/7.

The incident unfolded on a busy road. The driver, whose car was equipped with a dashcam, was driving straight when a helmetless motorcyclist overtook him from the right, then veered left. After the car lightly bumped the motorcycle, the motorcyclist blocked the car, forcing the driver to get out. As soon as the driver stepped out, the motorcyclist grabbed him by the collar and punched him in the face, sparking an argument. The two vehicles stopped in the middle of the busy road, obstructing traffic.

This incident highlights the importance of attentive driving and mutual courtesy among road users to prevent conflicts. In the event of a collision, drivers should strive for amicable resolutions, avoiding provocation or challenges that can lead to unpredictable consequences. Physical altercations can result in injuries, emotional distress, and even legal repercussions for disturbing public order.

Furthermore, motorcyclists are required to wear helmets. Decree 168/2024 stipulates a fine of 400,000 to 600,000 VND for riding a motorcycle without a helmet.
