A black SUV, traveling in the leftmost lane, suddenly braked and veered sharply into the right lane to take an exit ramp. Immediately behind it, a dashcam-equipped car was forced to brake hard at a very close distance to prevent a collision. This sudden braking caused a motorcyclist following closely behind to also brake sharply at high speed, losing control and falling onto the road. Fortunately, the motorcyclist quickly got back up and was not hit by vehicles approaching from behind.

Drivers should observe road signs and lane markings well in advance before changing lanes. Before changing lanes, activate your turn signal at a safe distance, check your rearview mirrors, and only proceed when it is safe to do so. If you find yourself in the wrong lane or miss an exit, never stop your vehicle or cut off other drivers to make an abrupt lane change. The safest solution is to continue straight and find the next intersection to turn around.

When traveling in mixed-traffic lanes, motorcyclists must maintain a safe distance, adhere to appropriate speeds, avoid vehicle blind spots, and always control their speed to react proactively to sudden braking from larger vehicles.
