The Palisade will be the next new model distributed by Hyundai Thanh Cong, following the mid-cycle refresh of the Stargazer, which launched on 24/3. Hyundai dealers indicate that the vehicle will continue to be assembled in Vietnam, similar to its predecessor.
The 2026 Palisade represents the second generation of Hyundai's largest and most premium SUV. Specific features and equipment for the new version set to be sold in Vietnam are not yet known.
In terms of design, the new Hyundai Palisade adopts a more angular and minimalist aesthetic. The front features five stacked LED lights on each side, framing the grille. The taillights also follow this design philosophy, maintaining a cohesive look.

More masculine exterior.
Hyundai's large SUV sees an increase of 63,5 mm in overall length and 68,5 mm in wheelbase, providing a more spacious cabin. While exterior curves have been minimized, they reappear in the interior design.
The dashboard, door panels, and center console of the new Palisade feature rounded elements. Like many other Hyundai products, the vehicle is equipped with dual 12,3-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard.
In the US, a key market for the Palisade, customers can add "relaxation seats" to both the first and second rows. This unique feature supports the thighs and allows for greater recline than conventional seats. An 8-seat configuration is standard, but the second row can be optioned with captain's chairs. The third row offers power-folding and heating functions. All three rows include cup holders and 100 W USB-C power ports.
One of the most significant upgrades for the new Palisade is the introduction of a hybrid powertrain. This system combines a 2,5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 329 hp and 459 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted via a 6-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid model has a maximum towing capacity of 1,814 kg.

Additionally, a 3,5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from the previous generation, remains available. This engine produces 287 hp and 352 Nm of torque. It comes with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, offering a towing capacity of up to 2,267 kg.
For those seeking adventurous family journeys, the new XRT Pro variant is an option. This new trim, specifically targeting US customers, features a 25 mm increase in ground clearance, improving the approach angle (20,5 degrees), departure angle (22,4 degrees), and breakover angle (18,3 degrees), along with various hardware and software enhancements.
The XRT Pro includes off-road tires, an electronic limited-slip differential at the rear, tow hooks, and standard 4-wheel drive. Technologically, the XRT Pro stands out with terrain modes for mud, sand, and snow, a surround-view camera monitoring system, a real-time tilt, compass, and altitude display, and hill descent control.
The vehicle also comes equipped with numerous convenience features such as a power sunroof, ambient interior lighting, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and faux leather seats.
In Vietnam, the current generation Hyundai Palisade is sold in four versions, offering 6 or 7 seats, with prices ranging from 1,469-1,589 billion VND. It competes in the E-segment CUV category against models like the Volkswagen Teramont (from 2,138 billion VND) and the VinFast VF 9 (1,499-1,699 billion VND).
