The 2026 Seltos is built on an entirely new Kia platform, featuring larger dimensions than the current model. Its front fascia presents a modern look with vertically stacked, split headlights. The main lighting elements are integrated into a wider grille, complemented by a redesigned skid plate.
This new B-segment SUV has increased in size compared to its predecessor, approaching the dimensions of the Sportage. The new generation Seltos now measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. These dimensions represent an increase over the previous generation, with length growing by 95 mm, width by 30 mm, and the wheelbase extending by 80 mm.
The interior has received a comprehensive upgrade, resembling Kia's electric vehicle lineup. The familiar digital cockpit features two 12,3-inch screens and a control panel with a 5-inch display for the air conditioning system. It boasts a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, 64-color ambient interior lighting, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and 10 Bose speakers.

The powertrain options for the new generation Seltos remain unchanged from the previous generation. The South Korean automaker offers three 1,5-liter engine choices: a naturally aspirated engine producing 115 horsepower, a diesel engine with 116 horsepower, and a turbocharged engine delivering 160 horsepower. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual (6MT), a 6-speed automatic (6AT), or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
In the Indian market, the new generation Kia Seltos will compete in a highly crowded segment against models such as: Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Tata Sierra, and the upcoming Renault Duster.
