On 24/2, Volkswagen Vietnam announced the availability of the Teramont Pro, a model making its debut in the domestic market. Dealerships are also accepting deposits for early deliveries in March. The Volkswagen Teramont Pro is priced at 2,799 billion dong, while the higher-end Teramont Pro Max costs 2,888 billion dong.
The Teramont Pro shares its 2,980 mm wheelbase with the Teramont X, a model sold in Vietnam since 3/2024. However, the Teramont Pro boasts the largest overall dimensions among Volkswagen's SUV lineup in the country.

The Teramont Pro measures 5,158 x 1,991 x 1,788 mm (length x width x height). Its dimensions surpass those of rivals in the E-segment SUV class, such as the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Hyundai Palisade.
Compared to the Teramont X, also imported from China, the Teramont Pro is 241 mm longer and 59 mm taller, with a similar width. The X model offers a 5-seater configuration, while the Pro is a 7-seater.
Beyond the similar layered LED headlight design, the Volkswagen Teramont Pro's styling differs entirely from the X version. It features a robust, more pronounced SUV silhouette, somewhat resembling the US-imported Teramont. The vehicle incorporates flush door handles and LED taillights spanning the rear.
Differences between the Pro and Pro Max versions are limited to a few exterior details. Wheel designs also vary, with 20-inch wheels on the Pro and 21-inch wheels on the higher-end model. The interiors of both versions are identical.

The Teramont Pro boasts a modern cockpit design with minimal physical buttons, relying on a large central infotainment screen to control most vehicle functions. A key highlight is the front seats, which integrate numerous features for both the driver and passenger. Notably, the passenger seat offers a business-class experience, dubbed the "Queen Seat" by Volkswagen. In the SUV segment and the automotive industry, business-class seats are typically found in the middle row.
The Queen Seat in the Volkswagen Teramont Pro is upholstered in leather, offering 14-way power adjustment, ventilation, cooling, heating, 8 massage modes, a leg rest, and three-position memory. This is a unique feature in its segment for a front passenger seat.
Volkswagen emphasizes the spaciousness of the Teramont Pro's interior. The two rear rows of seats can fold flat, and the third row features power folding.
The Volkswagen Teramont Pro is powered by a 2,0-liter turbocharged engine, delivering 268 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive.
This German model comes equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and changing assist, parking assist, and a 360-degree camera. More detailed information about the Teramont Pro will be available when Volkswagen officially launches it in late March.
Within Volkswagen's product range, the Teramont Pro, priced between 2,799 and 2,888 billion dong, represents the largest and most premium option among models sharing the Teramont name. The 5-seater Teramont X (1,998-2,168 billion dong), with its coupe-like styling, targets younger, individualistic customers who prefer dynamic design and technology. The 7-seater Teramont (2,138 billion dong) appeals to families and business professionals prioritizing spacious interiors. The Teramont Pro serves as an upgraded version in terms of design and amenities compared to the standard Teramont.
Compared to segment rivals like the Land Cruiser Prado (3,46-3,48 billion dong) or the Palisade (1,469-1,589 billion dong), the Volkswagen Teramont Pro is positioned in the mid-range.
