Japanese automaker Nissan chose the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) to introduce the new X-Trail e-Power to Southeast Asia, making Indonesia the second country in the region after Singapore to receive the model.

The X-Trail e-Power has a 5+2 configuration.
The 2025 X-Trail e-Power utilizes a turbocharged 1.5-liter, three-cylinder gasoline engine that primarily functions as a generator to charge a 1.8 kWh battery. This gasoline engine does not directly power the wheels. Instead, the energy is transmitted to two electric motors: one on the front axle (204 hp and 330 Nm of torque) and another on the rear axle (136 hp and 195 Nm of torque). This setup allows the vehicle to run entirely on electric power without the need for external charging. The vehicle is equipped with Nissan's e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system.
The X-Trail e-Power's exterior showcases Nissan's signature V-motion grille. The LED headlights are positioned lower than the LED daytime running lights. The hood has a muscular design. The LED taillights echo the design of the headlights. The front and rear bumpers are robust, and the vehicle rides on 19-inch wheels.
The interior features a flat-bottom steering wheel and dual 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported. A drive mode selector knob is located on the center console, alongside a newly designed gear shifter. The vehicle also features three-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, a 15W Qi wireless phone charger, and a 360-degree camera.
Nissan has equipped the X-Trail e-Power with numerous ADAS features, including: automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, driver attention alert, automatic high beams, and other standard features.
During its launch at GIIAS 2025, Nissan offered a special pre-order program for the first 500 customers, with a promotional price starting at 48,600 USD.
