Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam to sell 6 new car lines from 2026

The new vehicle series will feature many products ranging from B+ to D segments, including gasoline, HEV, and PHEV models.

Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam unveiled its new product lineup for 2026 at an event in TP HCM. According to the announcement, O&J's product plan for 2026 will cover B+, C-, C, C+, and D segments with 6 main products: C5, J5, O4, J6, C7, and J8.

Specifically, in the B+ segment, O&J will introduce the C5 and J5, competing with internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), and battery electric vehicle (BEV) models. The J5 model will be available in J5 ICE, J5 HEV, and J5 BEV variants.

For the C- segment, O&J will introduce the O4 crossover with four variants: ICE, HEV, PHEV, and BEV. In the C segment, the Chinese automaker will offer only the J6 BEV, an SUV that has already arrived in Vietnam. For the C+ segment, O&J will provide the C7 SUV, with gasoline (ICE) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants.

O&J's ambitions extend further, as the company will also compete in the D segment with the J8 model, available in ICE and PHEV variants.

Omoda's car lines, including the C5, C7, and O4, target young, tech-savvy customers. Meanwhile, Jaecoo's models (J5, J6, J7, J8) are designed for customers who prefer robustness, luxury, and adventure.
