Developed with the "Art in Motion" design language, the Omoda C7's front end bears a resemblance to the Lexus RX, featuring an X-shaped honeycomb grille and recessed honeycomb patterns on the sides of the bumper. The LED headlights include sharp daytime running lights, with separate high and low beams.
The C7 measures 4,660 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. Compared to C-segment CUV rivals like the Mazda CX-5 (4,550 x 1,840 x 1,680 mm) and Hyundai Tucson (4,640 x 1,865 x 1,665 mm), the Omoda C7 has a larger overall size but a shorter wheelbase than the Tucson.
The sleek body design and flush door handles enhance the car's streamlined profile. The rear is highlighted by lightning bolt-shaped LED taillights.
The Omoda C7 is equipped with two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels, a MacPherson strut front suspension, and a multi-link rear suspension.
The interior of the Omoda C7 is minimalist, featuring a prominent 15.6-inch 2K central display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A dual-zone automatic climate control system with PM0.3 air filtration is included, along with a 50W wireless charging pad.
Physical buttons control volume, climate settings, front/rear defrosters, and driving modes. The car offers Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes.

The rear seats are spacious with a slightly upright backrest, a center armrest with cupholders, air vents, heated seats, and two USB charging ports.
At the event, Omoda showcased the 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline version, producing 183 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque. It's paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Omoda will offer both gasoline and PHEV versions. The PHEV version features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 141 horsepower and 215 Nm of torque, a single-speed direct-drive hybrid transmission, and front-wheel drive. Combined with an 18.4 kWh battery pack, it offers a WLTC electric range of 95 km and a combined range of over 1,250 km.
The car is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including ADAS technologies such as adaptive cruise control, speed limit assist, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, rear automatic braking, safe exit assist, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, traffic jam assist, and forward collision warning.
Omoda & Jaecoo sales representatives indicated that the Omoda C7 will go on sale at the end of September, with prices ranging from 800 to 900 million VND. The car will launch and have its price announced alongside the Jaecoo J6 electric crossover.
