The collision occurred on the morning of 14/8 at an intersection in Phanom Sarakham, Chachoengsao Province, Thailand. Security footage shows a red light for through traffic, while a green light allows right turns. As a motorcycle made a right turn from the opposite lane, a pickup truck sped through the intersection, ignoring the red light. The high-speed impact sent the motorcycle and its three occupants flying.

Police found all three victims, a family riding on the motorcycle, at the scene. A 27-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 4-year-old girl and a 35-year-old man were critically injured. The father and daughter later died at the hospital.
