From mid-november, some dealers began accepting limited pre-orders for the Skoda Octavia RS. The vehicle, imported from Czech, is expected to be delivered before the Lunar New Year 2026.
The Octavia is positioned in the C-segment sedan market, where it competes with models such as the Honda Civic, Mazda3, and Toyota Altis. The RS variant specifically targets customers who prefer a sporty driving style.

The RS is the most powerful version of the Skoda Octavia line in Czech. It features a 2,0-liter turbocharged engine, delivering 265 hp at 5,250-6,500 rpm and 370 Nm of torque at 1,600-4,500 rpm. This is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive.
Skoda states that beyond its powerful engine, the RS's chassis and steering system have been refined compared to the standard model. The Skoda model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6,5 seconds.
Inside the Skoda Octavia RS, the cabin boasts sport-style leather seats with contrast stitching on the seatbacks and dashboard. The cockpit is further enhanced with carbon fiber patterns and piano black wood trim.
The infotainment system features a 13-inch central display with wireless phone connectivity. The vehicle also includes an electronic gear selector and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
Following the discontinuation of the Honda Civic Type R, options for high-performance sedans in Vietnam have become limited. Current alternatives include the imported Subaru WRX, priced between 1,699-1,799 billion VND. Currently, Skoda sales consultants estimate the Octavia RS's price to be around 1,5 billion VND.
