After a period of accepting deposits, Skoda Vietnam officially announced the price of the Octavia RS at 1.608 billion VND, marking the arrival of one of the few high-performance C-segment sedans in the market. Deliveries are anticipated before tet nguyen dan 2026.
The Octavia RS, the sportiest version of the Octavia lineup, is imported from the czech republic. Compared to the standard model, it boasts a more aggressive appearance with uniquely designed front and rear bumpers, RS badging, 19-inch alloy wheels, and distinctive black accents.

The Octavia RS cabin features a modern design, including a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch floating central screen. Interior details are adorned with carbon fiber patterns and piano black trim. It comes with leather and alcantara sport seats, along with a flat-bottom steering wheel featuring integrated paddle shifters. The vehicle is equipped with familiar conveniences found in european sedans and advanced driver assistance systems.
Powering the Octavia RS is a 2.0 TSI turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 265 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and features front-wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, this sedan can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 6.5 seconds. The chassis, suspension, and brakes have also been sport-tuned to enhance stability during high-speed operation.
With the discontinuation of the Honda Civic Type R, the high-performance sedan segment in vietnam now offers limited choices. The Subaru WRX, imported from japan, is currently available for 1.699-1.799 billion VND, targeting customers who appreciate a pure sports driving experience. The Octavia RS's price of 1.608 billion VND is lower than its japanese competitor, providing a distinct price advantage in this segment.
The Octavia RS is one of the vehicles for speed enthusiasts slated to appear at the vietnam mobility show 2025 (VnMS). The event will take place over three days, from december 26-28, at the vietnam exhibition center (VEC) in dong anh, hanoi, with free admission. Visitors will have the opportunity to test drive the Octavia RS, along with a range of the latest vehicles, from electrified cars to high-performance models, on a specialized outdoor track spanning approximately 90,000 square meters.
